Consultation Service.
Paul Slater Designer Landscapes provides a full garden design and landscape consultation service. Using knowledge gained as an experienced landscaping contractor and garden designer, Paul can consult from an early stage to help bring your dream garden design to fruition or to provide independent expert advice when needed.
An initial, simple feasibility study and a thorough site inspection could highlight any potential problems that may affect the garden construction, allowing them to be addressed in the early design stages.
Project monitoring is more cost effective than full project management and can help you (or your landscape contractor) build the perfect garden without compromising the heart of your design. Regular site visits to oversee the garden construction from start to finish helps keep everything on track and ensures it is all being built correctly. As a registered member of the APL, Paul can ensure strict working practices are maintained to ensure the very best service is maintained during every project.
Paul is regularly asked to consult on the following:

Unfortunately not every landscaping project goes to plan, sometimes through naivety or lack of experience, sometimes through misunderstandings or miscommunication. Paul offers clear and impartial advice on how to rectify unsatisfactory work and hopefully avoid expensive and stressful court cases. Recent cases include written reports to help reclaim money on a credit card used to pay for unsatisfactory work and reports on a poorly built landscaping project to help a client and contractor negotiate an amicable solution while avoiding legal action.
