People:

Paul Slater   Dip (garden design),  MCIHort, MPGCA, MAPL

Paul established his company in 2007, and with a portfolio of more than 350 completed gardens, he is recognized as a respected authority within the industry. He provides expert advice, training, and consultations to a diverse clientele across the UK.

Driven by nature and people, Paul works to inspire, plan, and build the perfect outdoor space for you and your family. Whether you’re starting anew or improving an existing garden, every project begins with thoughtful planning. Maximising how you use your space means you’ll truly enjoy your garden, while carefully chosen materials and plants, installed properly, ensure your garden is strong, matures beautifully, and remains stylish in the years ahead.

His boutique style business is founded on core values learned during his 23 years with the Royal Navy: dedication, discipline, and integrity guide everything he does.

Outside of work, Paul keeps active, and uses his motorcycle to support veterans charities and events.

Mission:

We specialise in creating unique beautiful gardens.  We have a wide range of skills and offer a comprehensive service to create a garden for private, residential customers. From initial ideas to placing the very last plant. Paul takes a holistic approach, making sure each garden feels personal and meaningful. Designs can cover your entire garden or smaller sections, always balancing practicality and what’s possible for any size area. He uses natural, proven materials along with contemporary touches that suit the local surroundings, aiming for designs that feel timeless rather than strictly traditional or modern. Garden Design by Paul Slater has the skill to handle complex projects but remains small enough to offer a truly personal service. Paul remains actively involved throughout the project.

What matters most is your individuality; your home and garden should reflect your style and preferences.

The journey toward your ideal garden starts with an open discussion about how you want to use the space and what fits you best.

Paul also offers ‘no obligation’ advisory visits and informative talks to groups, clubs and societies.
