Stubbington - accessible garden

 My brief for this garden was to create a fully accessible garden that didnt look like a hospital! 

Key features.

• Mediterranean influenced garden for a wheelchair user.
• Allows full access for a ‘technical’ chair
• Egyptian limestone paired with Dutch clay paviors.. 
• Bespoke Pergolas.
• Paddlestone walls (dry stone walls) and water feature.
• ‘venetian screen’ trellis.
• Technical door/ patio interface to allow drainage and air flow .
• Over 36 tons of hardcore to build up a substantial sub base.
• Designed in July 2021.
• Garden Completed February 2023
• Size: 170 sqm (approx) of which planting = 52sq m
